Peter Norborg is 49 years old and comes from a position as Chief Operating Officer at Switzerland-based open hatch/dry bulk company Gearbulk, a position he has held since 2012. Before that, he spent 14 years at D/S Norden, latest as Executive Vice President and Head of Dry Cargo division. Peter holds an EMBA from IMD Business School. He is presently living in Switzerland with his family, but will relocate back to Copenhagen.
Frank G. Jensen explains his own role in the company: “I have enjoyed playing a more hands-on role in our company as Group CEO for the last 6 months. This has given me a deeper insight into the daily work, challenges and opportunities of our company, and it has been a privilege to work even closer together with the great people of Clipper. These experiences will strengthen my work as Chairman of the Board of Clipper Group, and I look very much forward to working closely together with Peter taking Clipper into the future.”
Frank G. Jensen stepped in as Group CEO in July 2015, when former Group CEOs Kristian Morch and Gary Vogel had both left the company. He has been Chairman of the Board of Clipper Group since 2010. Frank joined Clipper in 1992, and was CEO of Clipper Bulk 1999-2010 and CEO of Clipper Group 2010-13 and again in 2015.
Peter Norborg will commence work in Clipper on April 1st 2016.
