Monaco, 15 January 2016 – Performance Yacht Painting (PYP), a leading provider of superyacht and megayacht paintwork, and VeGa Yachts, an Italian fairing company, announced today that they have joined forces in order to provide a specialist service for new build fairing and finishing. Work has begun on a 1st project together on a 44 metre Couach currently under construction at their shipyard near Bordeaux in the South West of France.
VeGa Yachts have considerable experience in fairing on new builds, having worked on over 200 projects since their inception in 1986. The company has worked with world-renowned shipbuilders such as Azimut Benetti, Baglietto, Eurocraft, Mondo Marine, Mariotti and Tankoa. Specialist in finishing and refinishing, PYP has developed proprietary techniques enabling them to obtain unrivalled quality levels that consistently exceed Icomia recommended GU levels (95+).
