alpha trans Luft- und Seefrachtspedition has named two joint managing directors to replace its existing managing director, Fred Eichenseher, who will retire at the end of 2016.
The exclusive German partner of the U-Freight Group (UFL), has named Tim Teubert as joint managing director, with responsibilities for the company’s ocean freight services and administration activities.
Meanwhile, Rainer Hoermansperger has also been named joint managing director, with responsibilities for air freight, networking and business development.
Both are long-standing employees of the company and already have senior managerial responsibilities.
Teubert has managed the company’s Dusseldorf office for the last 15 years.
Hoermansperger joined the company as a trainee 20 years ago. Having spent several years as alpha trans Luft- und Seefrachtspedition’s representative in the U-Freight Group office in Hong Kong, he returned to Germany two years ago to manage the company’s office at Munich.
Eichenseher will shadow the two new joint managing directors for the remainder of 2016 and continue in a consultancy capacity after his official retirement.
