Adding to the continuous success of Jeanius Consulting, Managing Director, Jean Gowin has been shortlisted for the UK 2016 FTA everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards, in the Industry Champion of the Year category, after being recognised for her work within the maritime sector.
Awarded to an individual, who is an active champion for the industry, through playing a vital role in attracting and retaining women in transport and logistics, Jean is just one of three to be shortlisted.
Now in its ninth year, the awards ceremony aims to celebrate stand out women within the industry and everywoman, the FTA and the Awards partners hope to raise the visibility of women excelling in this field, encouraging more females into this exciting sector.
On being a finalist, Jean said: “I am so thrilled to be shortlisted for this national award. Jeanius Consulting has, from the very start, strived to bring something different to its maritime division. Jeanius is proactively immersed in the wider business community and so passionate about shipping, its opportunities and its people. We’ve worked across the sector, striving to not only promote our global clients, but also to educate, break stereotypes, mentor others and speak up about the overall worldwide image of the shipping industry.”
The winners will be unveiled at a ceremony attended by over 300 industry leaders on 26th May 2016 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
