COOL LOGISTICS HAMBURG BANNER 9 2016

8th Cool Logistics Global Conference: 27-28 Sept 2016, Park Hotel, Bremen, Germany

How will the expansion of the Panama & Suez canal effect traditional shipping routes?
Keynote speaker Thorsten Haeser, Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Board member, Hapag-Lloyd will discuss with a particular focus on reefer trade flows.
Also speaking on day 1 is Martin Dixon, Director – Head of Research Products, Drewry who will be evaluating transhipment and shipping alliances and their benefits for reefers.

FULL PROGRAMME:
INTERMODAL FOCUS
German insistence on healthy food production drives exports of reefer intermodal volumes through German seaports to the Middle East and the Far East. Reefer boxes, 45′ footers and traditional reefer high cube containers are all benefiting from Europe’s mini food export with more foods being transported by rail.
Examples of end-to end reefer supply chain will be highlighted at this year’s Cool Logistics Global conference. The art lies in the clever combination of traditional transport modes, track and trace technology and coldchain asset utilisation.
