From 5 September to 31 December 2016, dredging works are being carried out in the foreshore of ST Marine Yard at Benoi Basin.According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.94, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – along the line joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum): 1) 01 deg. 18.165’N / 103 deg. 40.886’E 2) 01 deg. 18.168’N / 103 deg. 40.908’E 3) 01 deg. 18.114’N / 103 deg. 40.914’E 4) 01 deg. 18.111’N / 103 deg. 40.893’EThe dredging work will be carried out by grab dredgers held in position by anchor spuds. Tug boats will be used to shift the dredgers. The dredged materials will be transported to the designated dumping grounds by hopper barges, which will be shifted by tug boats.A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area of the project. Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals. Dredging work is being conducted off East Samulun Basin from 5 September to 4 November 2016.According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.95, the works are being carried out 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – east of Samulun Basin, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum): 1) 01 deg. 18.308’N / 103 deg. 41.889’E 2) 01 deg. 18.325’N / 103 deg. 41.918’E 3) 01 deg. 18.271’N / 103 deg. 41.949’E 4) 01 deg. 18.254’N / 103 deg. 41.921’EThe dredging work will be carried out by grab dredgers held in position by anchor spuds.
