Relocation of Government Mooring Buoys
Wednesday, September 28, 2016, Hong Kong
Government Mooring Buoys (GMBs) at the following positions (WGS 84 Datum) will be relocated on the dates indicated:
(A) 22 deg. 17.898’N / 114 deg. 13.371’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.880’N / 114 deg. 13.440’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.837’N / 114 deg. 13.121’E
(D) 22 deg. 17.815’N / 114 deg. 13.187’E(a) The GMB “A17” at Position (A) will be relocated to Position (B) on 4 October 2016.

(b) The GMB “A43” at Position (C) will be relocated to Position (D) on 3 October 2016.

After the relocations, the depth of water will be 8.6m at GMB “A17” and 9.0m at GMB “A43”. These mooring buoys will not be available for use during typhoons.

Maintenance works complete

Maintenance works to the New Big South lock chamber at Brunsbuettel have been completed earlier than predicted at 14;00 hours today (28 September).
