From the Damen Workboat Festival
6 October 2016 saw Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, which is also the headquarters of the Damen Shipyards Group, open its doors to customers and industry partners alike for the first Damen Workboat Festival. Over 200 guests arrived for the one-day event, taking the opportunity to inspect a wide range of Damen vessels and experience some of them out on the water.
The vessels on display included Multi Cats, a wide range of Stan Tugs, high-speed RHIBs, Pilot boats, Fast Crew Suppliers, fast Patrol Boats and pontoons. As well as the workboats, visitors could enjoy the onshore hospitality area with its refreshments and seating. A number of suppliers, including Alphatron Marine, Caterpillar, MTU, Radio Holland and Rolls Royce, had stands displaying their equipment, alongside various Damen products.

We welcomed customers, partners and press to our headquarters and its shipyard, where they had the opportunity to inspect a wide range of vessels in a relaxed atmosphere and have all their questions answered.
