Repair of jetty riser pipes

For approximately 6 months, repair of jetty riser pipes [at the Permanent Aviation Fuel Facility, Tuen Mun] will be carried out within the following two works areas:WORKS AREA 1:
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent jetty:
(A) 22 deg. 21.865’N / 113 deg. 55.540’E
(B) 22 deg. 21.908’N / 113 deg. 55.576’E
(C) 22 deg. 21.874’N / 113 deg. 55.621’E
(D) 22 deg. 21.831’N / 113 deg. 55.585’EWORKS AREA 2:
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS84 Datum) from (E) to (H) and the adjacent jetty:
(E) 22 deg. 21.772’N / 113 deg. 55.663’E
(F) 22 deg. 21.815’N / 113 deg. 55.699’E
(G) 22 deg. 21.781’N / 113 deg. 55.745’E
(H) 22 deg. 21.739’N / 113 deg. 55.709’EThe repair works will be carried out by one derrick barge. One tugboat and one work boat will provide assistance.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around the derrick barge will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the derrick barge.

The hours of work will be round-the-clock.

Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the works areas at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the areas.

Winter navigation starts
Tuesday, November 8, 2016, Sabetta, Russia
Due to the beginning of ice formation in the port of Sabetta, stable freezing temperature and in light of the ice forecasting, the period of ice-breaker assistance (winter navigation 2016-2017) has started with effect from 00:00 hours local time today, 8 November.The following restrictions are in force in the port area:- Tug and tow is not allowed for navigation in ice;- Vessels clear of ice-strengthening are allowed for navigation with ice-breaker assistance only;

– Vessels with ice-strengthening (with ice class Ice1 and higher) are allowed for navigation with ice-breaker assistance or independently – by permission and according to recommendations of ice-breaker.
