Ports ops halted due to bad weather
Monday, March 6, 2017, Jubail, Saudi Arabia

All port operations at Jubail for berthing/un-berthing were suspended by the port authority due to bad weather with strong winds up to 30 knots, at 0030 hours local time today (6 March).

Strong winds and bad weather are prevailing at Al-Jubail.

Anchorage closure
Monday, March 6, 2017, Port Kembla, Australia
Due to adverse weather, wind and swell conditions the Port Kembla anchorage was closed to shipping from 0700 hours local time yesterday (Sunday 5 March). Present indications are that it will reopen either tomorrow (7 March) or Wednesday, 8 March.

The Harbour Master has instructed all ships at anchorage to return back to sea and remain minimum 12 NM from shore.

The pilot ground and harbour is open to port movements and cargo operations are not affected.

Cyclone Watch Update – Shipping ops resumed

The Tropical Low which had been developing in the north of Australia last week has passed Darwin and all shipping movements are now back to normal.

Banks & authorities to close for Women’s Day
Monday, March 6, 2017, Russia
Banks, authorities, port administrations, etc. in Russia will be closed on Wednesday, 8 March, due to International Women’s Day. The next working day will be Thursday, 9 March.

The holiday will not affect oil/products terminals’ mooring and loading schedules.
