| With immediate effect and for a period of approximately one month, marine works involving trimming and backfilling operations will be carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (E):
(A) 22º17.139’N / 114º11.170’E (B) 22º17.117’N / 114º11.188’E (C) 22º17.055’N / 114º11.079’E (D) 22º17.092’N / 114º11.092’E (E) 22º17.114’N / 114º11.132’E The works will be carried out by a fleet of vessels including five dumb lighters, two tugboats and two guard boats. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. A working area of approximately 15 metres around each lighter will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the lighters. A silt curtain, extending from the sea surface to the seabed, will be established within the works area. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the extent of the silt curtain. The hours of work will be from 0700 to 2300 hours. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work. Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations. Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution. | For approximately 2 weeks, a wreck removal operation will be carried out within the works area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS84 Datum) from (A) to (D):
(A) 22º 21.320’N / 114º 01.436’E (B) 22º 21.118’N / 114º 01.436’E (C) 22º 21.118’N / 114º 01.198’E (D) 22º 21.378’N / 114º 01.198’E The works area will be indicated by yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights. The works will be carried out from 0700 hours to 1900 hours daily by a heavy crane vessel with the assistance of three tugs and two work boats. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit the operational requirements. Vessels engaged in the works will remain in the works area and display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations. Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep well clear at slow speed, bearing in mind there may be divers working in the area. | For approximately two months, marine works involving seawall enhancement works will be carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (C):
(A) 22° 21.477’N / 113° 57.240’E (B) 22° 21.308’N / 113° 57.411’E (C) 22° 21.302’N / 113° 57.196’E Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights and radar reflectors are laid to mark the boundary of the works area at co-ordinates (A), (B) and (C). The works will be carried out by one derrick lighter. Two guard boats and one tugboat will provide assistance. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. A separate yellow marker buoy fitted with yellow flashing light will be laid at a position close to co-ordinate (B) to mark the position of the anchor extending about 320 metres from the lighter. The hours of work will be from 0800 to 1800 hours. Vessels employed for the works will not stay in the works area outside the hours of work. Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations. Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution. | Yacht Race from Hong Kong to Daya Bay |

| A yacht race from Hong Kong to Daya Bay in the Mainland will take place on 26 October 2017 (Thursday). About 70 yachts are expected to participate in the race.
The race will start in the vicinity of Steep Island, Sai Kung at 0900 hours on 26 October 2017. Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 is mandatory.
