1.     20th COA Members Meeting, Amsterdam – Monday 27 November 2017: UPDATED AGENDA PUBLISHED, PLAN NOW TO PARTICIPATE

·        The updated Conference Agenda for the 20th COA Members Meeting – taking place at the Hilton Hotel Apollolaan, Amsterdam, on Monday 27 November 2017 – has been published.

2.     Plenary Session on Trends in Global Trade and the Container Shipping Industry

·        The conference timetable will feature a mid-morning start (registration/coffee from 10:30onwards), with a Plenary Session – including keynote sessions – before lunch.
·        Keynotes will include presentations on the impact of World Container Trade on the Container Shipping Industry and an analysis of changes in the Container Leasing/Manufacturing Industry.
·        There will also be a review of the impact of Hanjin Line Bankruptcy (one year on)
·        The morning session will conclude together with a report on the IPPC meeting on Container Cleanliness

3.     Parallel Session A: Technical Developments

·        After lunch, the conference will divide into two parallel sessions
·        One session will focus on key technical issues: Paints, Flooring, Cargoworthy Standards, SOC Acceptance Criteria, Reefer Containers and IT Systems.
·        The COA will present a number of draft COA recommended guidelines and reference documents

4.     Parallel Session B: Flexitank Conference

·        Parallel with the Technical Session, there will be the COA Flexitank Division Meeting
The Meeting will include discussion on: COA Flexitank Quality Management System; Shipping Line perspective on Flexitank Shipments; Review of Flexitank Rail Impact Testing Procedure; and Technology developments

6.     COA Container Pavilion at Intermodal Europe 2017
