Temporary Loading Facility at Junk Bay

A temporary loading facility will be established at Junk Bat. The construction and loading operation of the temporary loading facility will last for a period of approximately 19 months.
One tugboat and one dumb lighter will berth at the facility within the operation area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (1) and the adjacent shoreline for loading:

(B) 22 deg. 17.818’N / 114 deg. 15.246’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.819’N / 114 deg. 15.262’E

Lock still closed awaiting assessment of collision damage

Following the collision with the big south lock-gate at Kiel-Holtenau yesterday (20 February), the survey of the vessel has been completed but the assessment of the damaged lock-gate is still ongoing.
As a result, the big south lock remains closed and only one big lock chamber is currently in operation. The expected waiting time at Kiel-Holtenau locks is up to 3 hours.

Banks & public authorities to close for public holiday

All banks, authorities and port administrations in Russia will be closed for public holidays on Friday 23 February (Homeland Defenders’ Day).
This holiday will not affect mooring and loading schedules at oil/products terminals.

Sanctions against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)

Referring the [United Nations] Security Council resolutions (UNSCRs), (2397) 2017 which was unanimously passed on 22 December 2017, imposing new sanctions and expanding the scope of existing sanctions imposed by resolutions (2371) and (2375) 2017 and (2270), (2321) 2016, against DPRK.
FTA urge all ship-owners, ship managers, ship’s agents operating from UAE, and masters of UAE flagged ships and masters of ships operating in UAE waters, to comply fully with UNSCRs, in particular we draw your attention to the paragraphs 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14 of UNSCR (2397) 2017.
