Acceptance of vessels

Vessels will be allowed into Paradip Port Limits only after the vessel’s profile (VESPRO) is approved through the Port Community System (PCS) subject to verification of validity of required certificates and display of vessel’s entry in respective P&I website with Bunker Convention, WRC and CLC (for Tankers only) covered.
The above shall come into force with immediate effect.

Cargo vessel grounded at northern entrance
Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Bosphorus, Turkey
A general cargo vessel ran aground at the northern entrance to the Bosphorus and heeled 20 degree starboardside at 10:00 hours local time.
Coastal Safety is attempting to evacuate the vessel’s personnel. The salvage tug “Nene Hatun” and Turkish Naval Forces are on their way to the area for the search and rescue operation.
