Michael Bloomberg and Brian Duperreault highlighted Bermuda’s value to global business and the US in a public chat with Premier David Burt at the forum
Hamilton, Bermuda, March 29, 2019: Close to 350 executives and investors heard the unique business advantages and opportunities offered by Bermuda during a successful Executive Forum hosted in New York last week by the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA).
More than 40 speakers from Bermuda’s government, industry and regulator outlined global trends and unique factors that set Bermuda apart as a jurisdiction of choice for global business. Held in midtown off Times Square, the forum was the BDA’s fifth in a series held in different cities. Moderated panels of experts explored Bermuda’s key industries-from re/insurance and asset management to trusts, family offices and fintech. The island’s historic and mutually beneficial relationship with the United States was the common theme across all discussions.
