Suspension of vessel traffic for yacht race
Thursday, June 27, 2019, Bosphorus, Turkey
Vessel traffic in the Bosphorus will be suspended from 11:00 to 18:00 hours local time on Satruday 29 June due to yacht race.

Channel closures for firework displays

Several firework displays are scheduled for the Fourth of July affecting waterways throughout the New Orleans area.
The following Safety Zones affecting LMR Navigation will be in effect:
1. L’Auberge Casino Fireworks
– July 4, 2019 from 8:45 p.m. until 9:45 p.m.
– Lower Mississippi River MM 216.5 to 217.5 AHP, Baton Rouge, LA
– Designated representative: USCG Marine Safety Unit Baton Rouge, VHF-FM Channel 16
2. Go 4th on the River
– July 4, 2019 from 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
– Lower Mississippi River MM 94.3 to MM 95.3 AHP, New Orleans, LA
– Designated representative: USCG Station New Orleans, VHF-FM Channel 16
3. WBRZ-TV Fireworks Display
– July 4, 2019 from 8:45 p.m. until 9:45 p.m.
– Lower Mississippi River MM 228.8 to 230, above Head of Passes.
– Designated representative: USCG Marine Safety Unit Baton Rouge, VHF-FM Channel 16
All vessels are prohibited from entering these safety zones unless they have been granted permission by the Captain of the Port New Orleans or designated representative, listed above.
