The Shipowners’ team
From the Shipowners’ Club following last Friday’s OSCAR Dragon Boat Race 2019 which we attended:
On Friday 13 September the Shipowners’ Club were delighted to take part in the OSCAR Dragon Boat Race 2019. Out of the 27 teams that took part, we came a very respectable 7th and only just missed out on the finals!
More importantly we are delighted to announce that, thanks to your generous donations, we raised £2,833.55 for the OSCAR campaign (The Ocean and Shipping Community Advancing Children’s Health and Research) to support the pioneering research at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health.
