Full agenda and registration opens for IAPH 2020 World Ports Conference

Conference to cover four of the main global drivers of the port industry : energy transition, data collaboration, risk and reputation and business innovation

The IAPH World Ports Sustainability Program is delighted to announce that the full agenda has been published and registration is now open for the IAPH World Ports Conference, which is to be held in Antwerp, Belgium between 17 and 19 March, 2019.

#IAPH2020, with host sponsor Port of Antwerp, will bring representatives of the world’s ports together under one roof to work together around the theme of ‘Building transparency, predictability and trust.Rising to new demands of customers, communities and stakeholders.’

The agenda, which will range from plenaries to panel discussions, hands-on workshops, one-to-one conversations and specialised working events, has been devised to cover every current key issue facing ports and port communities.

IAPH’s Managing Director Dr. Patrick Verhoeven commented : “The content of #IAPH2020 has been worked on in great detail with our conference producer IHS Maritime and Trade. With myriad transformations in the way ports are operating, the entire agenda has been devised with the aim that participants not only leave with new knowledge and a broader network of people. We also would like them to contribute their expertise to the IAPH World Ports Sustainability Program and to the many initiatives IAPH has already put in motion to enable ports to collaborate on energy transition, digital transformation, business innovation, risk and reputation management.”
