Dry and Wet Markets a liability; Geopolitics with BREXIT’s ongoing serial even worse
The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) lost 40 points earlier on today and now reads 1,806 thanks mainly to the Capes’ triple-digit loss. Geopolitics puts Planet Ocean in limbo with BREXIT’s serial a catastrophe for all although time will tell. John Faraclas’ daily recap:
Minus 103 points for the Capes’ BCI now at 2,944 losing the 3,000 point threshold!
The Panamaxes BDI also lost the 1,800 threshold and now stands at 1,795 – minus 24 points!
Minor losses for both the Supras and the Handies; the BSI was down four at 1,217 and the BHSI was down three at 646.
So…the Dries dry out!
Similar losses for the Wets; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 1,312 – minus 64 and 856 – m–nus 50 points respectively. CAUTION!
The WTI as these lines are being written stands at US$ 54.48 considerably higher since last night’s US$ 53.51; nearly a dollar up!! CAUTION!
The main Geopolitical issues remain more or less the same with the MIGRANTS being by far the most important and serious one. The situ might backfire and turn the masses against politicians – local authorities included. This is a scam against the social cohesion in all countries with Greece, then Italy, then Malta, Cyprus and Spain being the nations most hit and suffering. “Somebody” is calling a fast one on all these nations and Europe at large. President Trump at the other side other Atlantic took a more bold view with the Wall and other measures. CAUTION. Does anybody in Brussels cares about the deaths of all these people, particularly young children and babies? The tool is rising day by day! Does anybody has the guts in Brussels – both in the EU and NATO to stop Turkey’s president Erdogan sending them over to Europe? What a hypocrisy eh!!!
The faulty line from Gib to Afghanistan and from the Caucuses to the Horn of Africa got worse… The Syrian mess will derail Peace in the entire region and Turkish provocative and blackmail actions will spill over the mess.
The Balkans are in a mess too as Albania and North Macedonia are kept outside of the EU doorstep… CAUTION!!!
Turkey MUST stop its provocations against Greece and Cyprus vis-à-vis the intrusion in these countries EEZ being also the EEZ of the European Union. What is Brussels doing on this eh!!!!!

BREXIT becomes a serial now and let’s see who will finally pay the damage from both sides of the channel! The British PM MUST ensure and guarantee that he knows how to navigate in turbulent waters. The BREXIT drama begins now as following today’s voting, the BREXIT Bill is still in limbo!
In South America too the Chilean mess MUST stop… There might be a certain point were the entire Latin America – Central and South America might go up in flames… Too many issues simultaneously at stake… Did I hear you say Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, Peru…

We wish him and Empress Masako all the very best and interestingly we noted that there wasn’t any celebration parade due to the victims of the Typhoon Hagibis where 80 people lost their lives!
In Africa, Ethiopia will proceed with a hydroelectric dam despite objections from Egypt; watch this space.
