Capes sky rock but it might turn sour; Wets struggle and the Drums of War can be heard

The unprecedented rise above the 3,500 points of the BCI can be short-lived once China and others complete their purchases. The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) with 281 plus points since yesterday now stands at 1,527 with the Capes being its greatest contributor. Wets still struggle down the bottom and Geopolitics will soon be under an all-out War… roof. John Faraclas’ daily market brief:

With 1,217plus points the BCI now stands at 3,672; Unimaginable! There are no words to describe this rise but we maintain the view that this situation will be sort lived.

The Panamaxes’ BPI  was up 98 points and now reads 1,117 points…

The Supras’ BSI  was up 14 points and now reads 648…

Hooray hooray, the Handies’ BHSI was up with a double digit; ten points plus and now stands at 354… !

Mixed feelings for the struggling Wets; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 513 – minus 11 and 402 – plus one points respectively. CAUTION!

The WTI as these lines are written stands close to US$ 39 – just over a dollar since yesterday…  CAUTION!

The Geopolitical issues remain the same; MIGRANTS, Turkey’s behaviour, Social upturns, Racism, you name it are there …alive and kicking… We can hear the Drums of War; CAUTION as with the current Recession and Coronavirus mess – with the possibility things to get worse, reasoning is the best way out to survive… Mind the Hypocrits and Warmongers; they are looming in the backround ready to destroy Peace on Earth!!!

Have a nice evening and continue to remain on guard from actions emanating from Pirates, Terrorists, Criminals and any Business Hooligans whatsoever wherever you are on Planet Ocean.  Once again a big THANK YOU to all who really care for all humans – Doctors, Nurses, Seafarers, Dockers, Port Authorities et al during this Coronavirus disaster!! We repeat: Do please invest in Hospitals including Equipment, Doctors, Nurses and any useful means to avoid further disasters! Become more disciplined and care for the Environment too. Lastly: Education and Training for all to be able to tackle these disasters. Let’s work collectively together and NOT opt for a fistful of Dollars to restart the already collapsed global economy… which is in red US$ 260 (twohundredandsixty) trillion…
