Crew travel on domestic flights

Queensland has stopped crew arriving/departing from regional ports from travelling on domestic air transport unless they have completed 14 days’ isolation.
Crew can still be moved between regional ports and Brisbane to connect with international flights by road. GAC has been able to successfully charter a bus and transfer crew via road in recent weeks.
Queensland State Border restriction remain in place; restrictions are scheduled to ease on July 10 to all states other than Victoria.

Recommencement of travel and business

Effective from today (1 July), GAC’s agent in the Bahamas Elnet Maritime Limited is granted permission to conduct all husbandry matters, including crew changes.
As per Government regulations, all disembarking crew/persons will be required to follow COVID-19 guidelines.

Enhancement of draft at berths

The draft at following berths are hereby temporarily enhanced as follows for the month of July 2020 considering prevailing weather and tidal conditions:
BERTH NO.5 (CB-1)
– Time/Date: From 0000 hrs 01.07.2020 to 2400 hrs 31.07.2020
– Permissible Draft: 15.00 metres
BERTH NO.4 (IOB)
– Time/Date: From 0000 hrs 01.07.2020 to 2400 hrs 31.07.2020
– Permissible Draft: 13.20 metres
The above notice is purely temporary and can be withdrawn at any time without prior information due to sudden change in weather conditions.
Draft for other days for above berths and draft for other berths shall remain as per the original notification No.:MD/SHS/TECH-26/2018/894 Dt.04.07.2018.

Punjab & Balochistan, Pakistan
Wednesday, July 1, 2020, Extension of smart lockdowns
The Government of the Province of Punjab has extended the smart lockdown until 15 July, and Deputy Commissioners of districts are authorised to seal/open hotspots in relevant areas as per emerging cases.
Further, the provincial government has extended the strict smart lockdown in Lahore City for next three days.
Government of the Province of Balochistan has also decided to extend the smart lockdown imposed across the province until 15 July.

Postponement of tariff of revenues and charges

In order to maintain continuity of work at ports in Iraq, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Transport has postponed the application of the tariff of revenue and charges for the year 2020 until 31 December 2020.
Originally, the same had been due to come into effect today (1 July).

Marcus Hook Anchorage obstruction moved

The possible obstruction located at 33.4’ MLLW in Marcus Hook Anchorage on 24 June was reinvestigated on 30 June and found to have moved 800’ upriver from its initial location.
