An interactive guide to cyber security planning
Malicious cyber attacks are a growing threat on board vessels. In response to this threat, the IMO has recommended that vessels should have a cyber security plan in place before the first annual renewal of the Safety Management Certificate after 1 January 2020.

The Club recommends that vessels of all sizes, where appropriate, should implement such measures to prevent cyber related incidents from occurring. To assist, the Club has produced an interactive infographic that summarises the key considerations owners and operators should make when building a cyber security plan based on the recommended “Five Functions”.
