Greece the disruptive European pivot, leverage opportunities for security & defense in an eroded multipolar world.
by Ines Selma Kirane, Finance senior at Hult International Business School London.
Greece’s ambiguous position with European and NATO nations is revealing of its symptomatic relationship with the EU. Economically bullied during the post-crash years, it is now operating an economico-diplomatic exit by standing individually in developing and reprovisioning its defense sector. The race between France and the USA in MMSC Frigate offers is voicing the strong position of Greece in the upcoming challenges and natural-resources tactical area: Greece is an entry point to the Middle East, a pivotal gravity center in tri-continental trade arbitrage, and the watershed of migrants eldorado (coercive labor force of developed nations). Note the continuous public announcements the French government is stating, reinforcing its support alongside the Ancient Pillars in the context of its standoffs with Turkish mercantilist ambitions.
French businesses in the maritime industry, security and secret defense, information security and cyber protection, emerging technologies and artificial intelligence, and humanitarian organizations all have a Greek focus note on their agenda. 2020 disruptions highlighted the Greek alliance as paramount in controlling France’s relationship with the Eastern half of the map. 2020 impulses a race in geopolitical and corporate alliances between developed start-up nations and the Ancient Empire: there is the marathon for Mars, the race to colonize the Moon, and the sprints to master the Mediterraneans. 3 gravitational forces in Geopolitics.
