Crew changes unaffected by weekend curfew

Crew change operations in Turkey will not be affected by the weekend curfew between 20:00 and 10:00 hours announced earlier this week.
Crew changes will continue to be permitted without any restrictions. Flights are not affected by the curfew and seafarers may arrive by air at any time.

Marine site investigation near western & southwestern parts of Hong Kong boundary

The works will be carried out by one flat-top barge and one survey vessel. Three tugboats will provide assistance.
A working area of approximately 50 metres around each working vessel will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the working vessels.
The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will not stay in the works locations outside the hours of work.
Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.

Yacht race in eastern waters

A yacht race will take place in the eastern waters on 21 November 2020 (Saturday) during the period from 1030 hours to 1700 hours. About 30 yachts are expected to participate in the race.
The race will start off Shek O via Tathong Channel, South Ninepin Group, Basalt Island, Steep Island, Waglan Island, Sung Kong Island and finish at Shek O.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 is mandatory.

Updated list of permitted countries

The Seychelles Government has updated the list of countries from which visitors are permitted to enter the country.
Visitors may travel to Seychelles if they are travelling from countries that are on the published list of permitted countries (now classified as Category 1 countries), provided that they have not been in a country not on the Category 1 list in the previous 14 days. If their travel involves a transit stop in a country not on the Category 1 list, but the traveler does not leave the airport in the transit country, they are permitted to travel to Seychelles under entry conditions for Category 1 countries.
Canada, Denmark, Lithuania, Portugal and Sweden have been removed from Category 1, while Cuba, Israel, Japan, Maldives, Malta, Saudi Arabia and Zambia have been added.
A second category of countries (Category 2) was been established in October, containing countries designated as “special status countries” of particular importance as tourism markets, but which, because of the worsening Covid-19 situation within their borders, have been suspended from the Category 1 list. Visitors from Category 2 countries have to meet additional health security measures compared to visitors from Category 1 countries.
Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland have been moved to Category 2.
