KPKinanGlass – December News

KIRA PHOENIX K’INANTHANK YOU! Before I share all my exciting news, I wanted to say a huge * Thank You * to everyone who has purchased a Little Snowflake or the MINI Constructure Framed artworks for Christmas presents or to add to your art collection.

It means so much to know that my glass babies are traveling to different locations across the world and will be given new, loving homes.

What your support also means is that I am able to start putting one of my biggest dreams into action, and that is to create my own studio! I am getting the wheels in motion, so fingers crossed that 2021 will not only bring more new artwork, but a studio to call my own. Optic Cloud, Glass, 20 x 20cm

I am absolutely thrilled to have been invited by the people’s art critic Tabish Khan to exhibit at this year’s ING Discerning Eye. A massive thank you Tabish for all your support, it is greatly appreciated.

This year’s edition of ING Discerning Eye will be held virtually, for the first time in history. Exhibiting virtually has become a regular occurrence in 2020 and continues to allow artists to display their work and reach even greater audiences. Thank you to ING Discerning Eye for your continued committed to helping artists showcase their work.
The virtual show will run from 19 Nov – 31 Dec

❄️ LITTLE SNOWFLAKES ❄️I am delighted to share that since the launch of the Little Snowflakes they have found new homes all around the world. If you are looking for a gift that will bring a smile, there is still time to order your Little Snowflake. You can choose from a variety of satin ribbon colours that will complement the way you like to decorate during the festive season. And each Little Snowflake comes packaged in its own little box tied with a satin ribbon bow. To make sure your Little Snowflake arrives safely, they are sent in a shiny yellow bubble envelope that you won’t be able to miss.

Each Little Snowflake is handmade in white and clear glass in my London studio and measures at 6cm x 6cm x 0.5cm each (excluding the Satin Ribbon) Each Little Snowflake is £15 (including P+P for UK residents, with an additional £5 for overseas orders that are sent via track and sign).

THE ARTISTS SUPPORT PLEDGE / SNEAK PEAK
Thank you to everyone who has already purchased a selection of the MINI Constructure Framed glass artworks. There are still four works available from this series (please see below). I have a few sneak peeks of the Seconds in Oscillation Series for you view that I won’t be launching on Instagram until Tuesday 1st December!

 / @kpkinanglass / @kpkinanworksonpaper / @kpkinanceramics /  WHAT IS THE ARTIST SUPPORT PLEDGE (ASP)?
THE ARTISTS SUPPORT PLEDGE is a Not for Profit Company created by artist Matthew Burrows at the beginning of London’s lockdown as a way to support artists whose live shows were all cancelled and income dried up. The concept is simple – I will be posting images of the works that are available on Instagram and each work will be under £200 (not including shipping). Anyone is then able to purchase the work, and I have already had works on paper find new homes in America and Scotland. Every time I reach £1,000 of sales I pledge to purchase any other artists’ ASP work.
