SEASON’S GREETINGS FROM LISW

On behalf of the LISW21 Steering Group and Board of Advisors, the Shipping Innovation team would like to share warmest holiday wishes to all of you celebrating this festive season.

While many of us will understandably be eager to draw this tumultuous year to a close, we encourage you to look back on 2020, as we do, as the year that reacquainted us all with the enduring resilience which is so characteristic of the shipping industry.

This year our industry has navigated the impact of a global pandemic; it has implemented the IMO’s 0.50% sulphur limit as well as resolve one of the worst crew repatriation problems of a generation, among others. While the journey is far from over, we feel the shipping sector should be proud of its achievements throughout 2020.

We wish you all the best for the festive season, and we look forward to seeing you again in a healthy, happy 2021.
