What a day eh! With 50 points plus surpassing the 3,000 points threshold the BDI creates a promising Dry market environment which looks likely same might survive the current summer deep and existing Recession. Coronavirus turns nasty… John Faraclas daily brief recap:
The Capes’ BCI was up 94 points at 4,774 – what a reflecting number eh! Surpassing the 4,700 point threshold…
The Panamaxes BPI surpassed the 2,600 points threshold and now reads 2,643 – plus 59!
The Supras too continue to enjoy a good market with the BSI at 2,151 – plus 11 points…
A “surge” for the Handies’ BHSI with 24 points plus, now standing at 1,14 points…
No complaints, the Dry Market weathers the storm…
At last a nice “surprise” for the Wets; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 605 – plus one and 470 – plus two points respectively. Everything positive counts!
Bad news with the WTI up 92 cents since yesterday and now reading US$ 64.78… Difficult days lie ahead… CAUTION…
