USCG Annual Report – Greece Joins QUALSHIP21 list*
The US Coast Guard has published its 2020 Annual Report, which you can access here.
The report makes reference to QUALSHIP 21 program, which ended calendar year 2020 with 3,283 vessels enrolled.
In 2020, 5 flag administrations lost their eligibility while Greece, Saudi Arabia and Spain became eligible.
From July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022, Greece will be included in the eligible Flag Administrations list of the USCG QUALSHIP 21 Program, amongst other 22 flags.
The flag administration of Greece became QS21 eligible again this year after many years of not been qualified for the program. We would like to congratulate the Maritime Safety Division of the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy of Greece for this achievement.
