Economists and experts from around the world have signed their names to a statement calling for the world’s biggest sovereign fund to join the United Nations-convened Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance. Ahead of COP26 in November, this statement sets out policy recommendations for the Government Pension Fund Global to brings its actions in line with Norway’s climate goals.

Masahiro Nozaki, deputy division chief of the Asia-Pacific department, International Monetary Fund, presents the IMF’s ‘Fiscal Policies to Address Climate Change in Asia and the Pacific’ study.
