Chios Marine Club’s summer do in Lagada, Chios
The Chios Marine Club’s summer meeting took place on Wednesday the 18th of August 2021, in Chios. Due to the ongoing Covid mess, it was a great opportunity for the Members to meet after some time and Yeros’ taverna was the venue at the picturesque port of Lagada, north east of the Island of the winds. A unique evening with local dips and drinks, not to mention the main course, excellent!
Nearly 50 members managed to make it. The president Capt. Antonis Pitsilos accompanied by the vice president Mike Kasmas – who emanates from Lagada, visited all the tables meeting members and their families wishing them good health and also the president in his short speech thanked all participants for the devotion to the Chios Marine Club.

*Lagada is situated in the north east of Chios Island in Greece’s Northern Aegean Sea and it is one of the most famous Seafaring Centres beyond Chios; in the time when sails ruled the waves an important shipowning centre too.
