Specific issues to be discussed will include:
- The approach to the incorporation of charterparty terms into bills of lading in general
- Whether exclusive insurance codes in charters will be incorporated into bills of lading
- How exclusive insurance codes might affect war risks and K&R policies – very topical given events in Ukraine
- The insurance industries’ perspective on insurance codes, and the exclusion of an insurers’ right of subrogation via insurance codes
