21st ΝΑVIGATOR 2022 – THE SHIPPING DECISION MAKERS FORUM / WEEKEND, Chios Island, 23-25 SEPTEMBER 2022
Navigator Forum sails back in Chios, after the first Forum that took place on the island in 2018, from 23rd to 25th September 2022. That Forum is now considered as a landmark since the first “brainstorming” group was established there, conceptualizing subsequently NAVIGATOR FORUM ADVISORY BOARD and NAVIGATOR ASSEMBLY.

FRIDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2022:
Arrivals at Chios either by Ferry or by plane
13.00: Departure from the port of Chios to Oinousses island.
14.00-19.00:
– Light lunch for the participants at the port of the Island at VILLA CAPTAIN DIAMANTIS
– Tour to the Island
– Visit to the Maritime Museum of Oinousses
– Visit to the Merchant Marine Academy of Oinousses– Visit to the Holy Church of Saint Nicholas
– Welcoming speech from the Mayor of Oinousses, Mr. George Daniel at Naftosyni Square
19.00: Departure to Chios island
20.00-23.00: Free time
23.00: A Vigil will take place at the Holy Church of Panagia Myrtidiotissa at Mersinidi for our seafarers, with the presence the Most Reverend Metropolitan Markos of Chios, Psara and Oinousses.

The outcome of the 16 closed round table discussions of NAVIGATOR ASSEMBLY, which took place on 13 April 2022 with the presence of 300 executives from 200 Shipping Companies, will be presented during the Forum.
Following the moderators’ statements of each of the above-mentioned topics, an open discussion will take place with the participants of the conference regarding each subject.

19:30: Meeting at Chios’ Chandris Hotel and departure for Pantoukios cove by bus
20:00 onwards: Traditional Chian Feast at Pantoukios with live music

12.00: Visit to the Nautical Museum of Chios
13.00-1700: Cocktail / Light lunch as offering of the Municipality of Chios at Aghia Fotia Beach (opportunity for swimming)
17.00-18.00: Visit to the Holy Church / Monastery of Aghios Minas and the Historical Exhibition – Chios Massacre Museum
18.00-20.00: Tour at Chios Port
20.00: Participants departures with 21:00 and 22:00 hrs flights
