Have you registered for the launch of our ‘Energy Transition Outlook 2022 – Maritime Forecast to 2050’ report? The event will held in-person at SMM in Hamburg and will also be live streamed.
This is the sixth edition of our forecast of shipping’s energy transition towards 2050. Since the inaugural launch of the Maritime Forecast some five years ago, the report has established itself as one of the most influential decarbonization forecasts for the global maritime industry.
This year’s report will breathe fresh insights into the maritime industry’s energy transition debate, building on some of the key research findings from last year’s report including an updated outlook on regulations, drivers and technologies.
For the first time, the report takes a deep dive into the topic of fuel availability – among the most stubborn challenges confronting shipping. It will also consider the impact of policy interventions like green corridors, as well as the most efficient and cost-effective ship designs.
Join in-person, or via our live stream, as our in-house experts present the findings and industry representatives, including shipowners, policymakers and energy majors, offer their perspectives on the report and the decarbonization challenge ahead.
