Once again the Hellenic Engineers Society of Great Britain members and friends gathered last Sunday at the Real Greek restaurant at Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush for the traditional Winter Taverna Lunch.
Over 80 members, some with their familes and friends enjoyed the carefully selected greek meze, wines, beers and soft drinks in a very jovial atmosphere.
Long standing member Leon Papazoglou was awarded the status of Honorary Member of the HESGB as a recognition of his contribution to the goals and purposes of the Society. This was originally planned to be presented during the 2020 Annual Dinner Dance, but due to the pandemic circumstances there was the inevitable delay.
We now look forward for 28th Annual Dinner and Dance in February 2023; an event not to be missed after the two years Covid pandemic “interval”… Watch this space!
