WESTON, CT – May 9, 2023- The North American Marine Environment Protection Association’s (NAMEPA) “Maritime Sustainability Passport” (MSP) Certificate and Seal has been awarded to Triworld Shipping Services, (TSS) announced Carleen Lyden Walker, Co-Founder and Executive Director of NAMEPA. TSS successfully met the program’s requirements and received their MSP Certificate and Seal, indicating their dedication to the marine environment. The program encompasses each of NAMEPA’s Transparency Pillars in its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics and TSS has demonstrated their compliance with these pillars.
“It all started with the ESG 101 Workshop, where we learned the word ‘sustainability’ encompassed more than just following pollution regulations to take care of the environment or keeping a recycling bin in our office. We found the MSP application well designed to suit not only the big companies, but also suited for relatively small outfits such as ours,” remarked TSS President Milind Trilokekar, “A big thanks to NAMEPA for giving us a formal ESG policy and a road map for our sustainability.”

Furthermore, by officially receiving their MSP, TSS has proven that their dedication is not just spoken but tangible, aligning them even further with NAMEPA’s mission to promote industry best practices and to Save Our Seas.
