Quadrant Chambers and the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) joined forces to organise the ‘Greener Shipping – decarbonisation and adapting to a changing regulatory environment‘ hybrid event, held as part of the London International Disputes Week 2023, on Thursday, 18th May 2023 11 AM – 1 PM at Quadrant House, 10 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1AU.

The discussion will focus on the changing regulatory environment regarding greener shipping and decarbonisation. How will the different stakeholders in the shipping sector respond to this new regulatory framework and what are the practical implications of the changes for shipping contracts and disputes?
The panel includes Simon Rainey KC and Nichola Warrender KC from Quadrant Chambers, Ann Shazell, Group Lead Lawyer at Cargill International SA, who was a member of the drafting team for the BIMCO ETSA and CII Operations Clauses for Time Charter Parties 2022, and Clare Ambrose, Arbitrator and Full Member of the LMAA.
