Get Christmas ready at Port Solent with plenty of festive fun lined up to keep everyone happy.
Celebrate the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ at the popular waterside leisure destination, which will have even more sparkle and shine from Saturday 25 November, with the Christmas lights switched on and festive decorations adding to the atmosphere.
Jingle bells will be ringing for the brilliant Festival of Christmas on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December, with seasonal street entertainment and festive music, winter-warming food and drink and more than 100 under-cover market stalls offering an inspiring range of gift ideas for the perfect present.
You’ll be rocking around the Christmas tree to live performances on the Saturday, 10am to 5pm, from Theatre Arts Kids, the Igloo Band and Choir, the Salvation Army Band and Warsash Band, plus entertainment from Two Wise Men, Christmas Pudding and a festive Fairy!
On Sunday, from 10am to 4pm, there will be music from The Pitch Pipers; Pompey Pluckers, the Lyrics Singing Crew and The Fine Voice Choir, plus fun with The Squirrels and The Wish Elf.
Hit the high notes by joining in Christmas Carols at the Boardwalk on Wednesday 20 December, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Carollers will add their voices to the harmonious Portsmouth Baroque Choir and the uplifting music of the Portsmouth Salvation Army Band, outside the Harvester restaurant.
The fun continues on Boxing Day, Sunday 26 December, when the popular Car Meet takes place from 10am to 12 noon. The Boxing Day Special is a must for car enthusiasts with plenty of fantastic classic and unusual cars on show. It’s a great way to enjoy some fresh air after the Christmas Day festivities.
