Supply Chain industry given more chance of recognition as nominations for the Multimodal 2024 Awards open early

by admin

Following the huge success of last year’s honours, nominations for the Multimodal 2024 Awards have been opened early by organisers. This means that ahead of the new year, representatives across the Supply Chain industry can now nominate the businesses, thought leaders and associations who are leading the sector.

As votes are cast via the thousands of Multimodal newsletter readers, past attendees, exhibitors and visitors, the Awards are independent endorsements for excellence in air, road, rail, maritime and freight, recognising outstanding industry-leading supply chain businesses and individuals.

This cements the Multimodal Awards as one of the fairest in the sector as it ensures all size of businesses are represented, supported by an industry-leading voting system.

Commenting on why nominations for the Awards are open earlier than in previous years, Event Director Robert Jervis commented: “Multimodal has grown year on year and the Awards are no exception. Not only are they the highlight of the three-day event, but they also allow the industry to come together and celebrate outstanding performance across several sectors.

“The Awards this year welcome three new categories to make them as relevant as possible and open to more of the industry. I’d urge people to enter as soon as we have already had a great deal of interest. We use an independent nomination and voting system, so all those shortlisted can be assured that be placed is a true independent endorsement of a company’s or individual’s excellence.”

There are three award categories, one of which is judged and awarded by the Multimodal team.

The Modal Awards are nominated and voted for by the attendees, exhibitors, visitors and newsletter readers and comprise of six categories:

  • Air Freight Company of the Year
  • Road Freight Company of the Year
  • Rail Freight Company of the Year
  • Sea Freight Company of the Year
  • Port Company of the Year
  • 3PL of the Year

Nominations close on the 29th March 2024, with the list of finalists announced and voting opens on 9th April for the best in each sector to be chosen.

In addition, there are seven Judged Awards that are entered via a written nomination and judged by an independent judging panel of industry experts. The entry deadline for these is the 1st May, with the list of Finalists being announced around the 6th May, before being judged by the independent panel. The Awards span the following:

Finally, there are two Multimodal Judged Awards, selected by the organisers. They are:
