Mersey Maritime has launched the eleventh annual Mersey Maritime Industry Awards (MMIAs) and is calling on maritime and logistics businesses across the Liverpool City Region and the wider North West to submit their entries for 2025.
Celebrating the very best of the sector, the MMIAs champion businesses, organisations and individuals operating in or supporting the maritime, logistics, and energy industries. The awards are open to any eligible organisation across the North West and surrounding areas, with free entry for Mersey Maritime members only.
Founded in 2002, Mersey Maritime was established to create a supportive ecosystem for one of the UK’s most dynamic maritime regions – and the awards continue to be a powerful showcase of that mission.
This year’s ceremony will take place on Thursday 6th November 2025, once again in the prestigious setting of Liverpool Cathedral. It promises to be an unforgettable evening of celebration, collaboration and recognition across the entire maritime supply chain.
Returning to host the ceremony for the second year is prominent broadcaster and journalist, Lucy Meacock.
Mersey Maritime is proud to announce some of the fantastic sponsors already confirmed for the 2025 awards. Maersk is one of the Diamond Sponsors this year, with further support secured from Brookes Bell, Cammell Laird, Carmet Tug Company, Peel Ports Group, Royal HaskoningDHV, Royal Navy and SeaKing Group. Mersey Maritime is extremely grateful for their commitment to helping make the MMIAs a standout event once again.
