Earlier on tonight at a full house at Hyde & Seek, north of Athens, a networking cocktail took place with over 200 plus judges, candidates, supporters and friends of the upcoming 4th Greek International Women Awards.
A night of connection, offer and inspiration in a very jovial mood with drinks and dips with women from all over planet ocean and from all business paths of life! Ten centum were males supporters of this unique event enhancing the business capabilities of Greek females!
A personal and collective triumph of Sofia Konstantopoulou- Vilhelmsen and her dedicated team. We, myself, Anny Zade and other members of www.allaboutshipping.co.uk, we are more than fortunate to follow the launching of GIWA in London few years ago, and attend its events, proposing candidates, voting, as well as media supporters.
We were very touched watching on screen all about GIWA and very pleased to see many ladies from London and few from Athens.
The Raffle Prizes were many, unique and some additional extras not included in the program denoting the continued and unsolicited support of sponsors and supporters.
Great moments for Sofia’s parents and husband present at the event, particularly when Lili Piraki – who presented the event, asked her to come on the floor and speak. Naya (Boletsou) and Eleni Konstandinidou also said a few words. As mentioned above the London fraternity’s presence was noted – DJ Avgoustinos, Marianna Dourou and her friend Alexandra Daskalaki, Clara Poulantza, Katie Ameli and many others honored the event. Volta’s Publisher Fotini Androulaki was there too– a great sponsor, supporter and good friend supporter of allaboutshipping, as did Rodi Kratsa- Tsagaropoulou and her daughter Constantia with her baby in the pram!!!!!
Good to meet new people and what a small world meeting Ms Nikolara, daughter of my late Chian compatriot lawyer Antonis Nikolaras who was also a specialist at yachting law! Great meeting too, amongst others, Chrysanthi Sofrona, Kyriaki (Kari) Haniotou, Ifigenia Benetou, Mara Papavasileiou, Anna Tzika and Andriana Mitrakos…
