Boston, MA – Thursday, December 4, 2025 – Veson Nautical, a global leader in maritime data and freight management solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Barnes as Chief Development Officer. In this newly created senior leadership role, Chris will lead Veson’s global engineering organization, further aligning our teams and technology to deliver transformative, AI-powered solutions to the industry.
Chris brings over 20 years of engineering and technology leadership experience across a multitude of enterprise software solutions and industry verticals. Most recently, he led ERP Reporting and AI Product Development at insightsoftware, where he managed global development teams across over 20 enterprise products. His deep expertise in product integration, cloud architecture, AI strategy, digital transformation, and agile delivery practices will be instrumental as Veson evolves its unified platform. Chris will be based in Veson’s Boston headquarters and lead the global engineering team.
