A heartfelt thank you to our incredible audiences and to our dedicated teams at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford for helping us reach an extraordinary milestone.
In the last few years, by truly listening to our visitors, systematically and rigorously gathering audience insights, and shaping experiences around what people value most, the Ashmolean has welcomed 1 million visitors this year.
This achievement is a testament to what happens when an institution puts its audiences at the centre: recognising their needs, responding with care, and creating spaces where people feel inspired and welcome.
We still have a long way to go to make everyone feel included, but here’s to my colleagues that lead with curiosity, generosity, and purpose and to our wonderful visitors that make it all possible.
We are absolutely thrilled to have welcomed over these 1 million visitors through our doors this year.
