Good Day, Good evening and Happy New Year yet again to all everywhere in Planet Ocean!
Pursuant to our last update on the 11 January 2026 at 08:07 gmt, here we go again for our Seventh Top One Hundred Women in Shipping which includes the BALLOT PAPER at the end of Rule 5!
This is the most popular of all events and awards! We are already thrilled with the interest shown over all these years and we look forward to a great event. Allaboutshippng is the most important platform in recognising female talent in our industry and its impact in highlighting women’s achievements is more than significant and appreciated all over Planet Ocean!
This year to be even more constructive, to honour women in a better and fairer way, we are making some changes which were very thoughtfully collected by many in the industry and match some of our aspirations for the top women (we had great feedback).
We shall be open for more nominations to better reflect the wealth of talent in our industry and same will come in nineteen categories plus one for the overall leading woman:

s. Emerging young leaders not above 40 years old as of the 31st of December 2025
As said above these categories are designed to reflect the wealth of talent in our industry.
There is no candidacy as such and prospective women taking part can also self-nominate and spread this in any way worldwide to attract votes.
Now, do please read carefully the Rules:
1. Only One vote is permitted per person by email to nominate your chosen woman for each list, stating the reason for your choice in not more than 50 (fifty) words and giving the professional status of the voter.
2. Voters must be minimum 21 years old as of the 31st of December 2025 and imperatively work for a Shipping company or related organisation, giving the company’s full name, details, position as well as the person there to verify this (his/her company email).
3. Voting can only be accepted from members of the Shipping Industry and allied sectors (for example legal, insurance, broking, regulation, professional organisations, maritime-related communication and IT, navigation electronics, ships’ services, marine products, ports, public relations, shipmanagement, shipbuilding, military (coast guard), seafarers, to name but a few), stating clearly company name, full style address, and website. No vote will be accepted without these details, which will be kept confidential.
4. Dates of voting will be from 00:01 GMT on Sunday the 1st of February 2026 to the 15th of Feb 2026 being a Sunday until 24:00 GMT with results announced between the 17th and 19th of Feb 2026
and
5. Email address to send your vote: infox2mml@yahoo.com . There will be a ballot paper circulated three days before the voting begins, i.e., on the 28th of January 2026 to vote / fill in; Please see same at the end of this paragraph!!! No vote will be accepted prior to the 1st of February 2026 and after the 15th of February 2026.
