
Weston, CT– February 4, 2026 — The American Maritime Industrial Coalition (AMIC) today announced its upcoming public webinar, Rebuilding U.S. Maritime Power: A Strategic Roadmap from Now to Next, taking place on February 12, at 4:00 pm EST. The webinar will convene leading maritime, policy, and industry experts to present an evidence-based framework for restoring and strengthening the United States’ maritime industrial base.
At a critical moment marked by limited shipbuilding capacity, aging port and shipyard infrastructure, workforce shortages, and growing global competition, AMIC’s first webinar moves beyond awareness to focus on execution. The session will outline what must be done immediately, what must be built next, and what must be sustained over the long term to ensure national, economic and security resilience.
