Laurent Stefanini has been elevated to the rank of Commander of the Order of Lafayette during a ceremony in Menton, recognising his distinguished career in French diplomacy. The former French ambassador to Monaco received the honour from Thierry Chevalier, president of the International Order of Lafayette. Founded in 1999, the organisation works to strengthen ties between France, Monaco and the United States.
