The Yacht Club de Monaco’s flagship Tuiga has concluded its landmark American tour and is preparing to return to Port Hercule after a final stop on Nantucket Island alongside fellow classic yacht Viola. The century-old vessels, which took part in the July 4 naval parade in New York before competing in regattas across New England, were honoured at a private reception hosted by long-time friends of Monaco Scott and Jill Kelley, with the occasion welcomed by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II. The voyage marked the first time both historic yachts had sailed in American waters, promoting Monaco’s maritime heritage and the preservation of classic sailing traditions.
