At the 420/470 Class Junior European Championship held from July 20 to 27 in Nida, Lithuania, the Greek team took home a total of 9 medals.
Key performances from the sailors of Nautical Club of Palaio Faliro (NOPF): 420 U19 Category (107 boats): Ioannis Tournis and Kyriakos Zaponidis achieved the club’s top result of the championship, finishing 2nd overall and taking 1st place in the Men’s division in a massive fleet.
420 U17 Category (64 boats): Eleni Galazoula and Stavros Aronis added to the club’s success by securing the Silver Medal (2nd place) in the U17 Men/Mixed division.
