Connecting global buyers to drive efficient business matching

This strong participation is a testament of its’ international presence and influence in the region.

Catering to procurement needs, the show will host specialised business matching sessions, forming a platform for international trade. These targeted sessions will connect buyers from South American countries such as Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia as well as Belt-and-Road countries, with suppliers for parts and components and automotive care products.

Industry insights into industry transformation and customisation trends
During the show, 35 concurrent fringe events will include high-level conferences, technical seminars, and interactive experiences. Converging domestic and international industry pioneers, experts, brand representatives and key opinion leaders, sessions will explore key topics such as global market expansion, intelligent technologies and customisation culture. Together, these events create a platform for knowledge sharing, technical exchange, business matching and cultural experiences.

A key highlight is the South China Automotive Circulation Industry Ecosystem Development Seminar on 19 August, which will help companies gain a better understanding of how to leverage new policies for growth through seminars on trends, business operations and export strategies.

Another crucial event is the 3rd Automotive Parts Overseas Expansion Forum on 20 August. Gathering leading industry professionals, the forum will address export challenges including market tactics, evolving trade dynamics and localisation. Through real-world case studies, speakers will offer insights into navigating the geopolitical environment while exploring emerging markets across Southeast Asia. By examining local investment profiles, market size, and potential risks, the event aims to empower domestic businesses to capture global growth opportunities.

Concurrently, the 18th Guangzhou Auto Parts Technology Forum will explore the concept of a connected future through intelligent cockpits and smart connectivity technologies. It will gather representatives from OEMs, parts and components manufacturers, as well as academia and industry associations to examine a user-oriented intelligent ecosystem through cockpit connectivity, and vehicle-to-everything networks, and how these innovations are reshaping driver experiences.

Complementing these events, the UTS Customising Salon will host a range of experiences. The UTS x CMST Dream Space series in the Lotus Hall (located in Hall 2), combines product showcases and vehicle displays to create an aesthetic atmosphere; the Elite Tuning Community – Southern China session hosts discussions on the latest trends, livestream e-commerce, and new revenue models; and, the UTS Luminous Gold Overseas session series highlights opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as cross-border trade and after-sales services for overseas customers.

Special events to connect the industry and support green development
The show will also host a three-part special series, bringing supply chain themes to life through art, interactive experiences, and onsite activations for visitors.

  • Renewal through the chain – zero-carbon automotive art for charity: in collaboration with a team of artists, a special art piece titled “Powering New Beginnings”, crafted primarily from recycled parts and components, represents zero-carbon development and will be donated to an industry-related institute after the show.
  • Future in the chain – circular economy lab: this interactive laboratory is set to provide educational insights on recycled plastics. It will feature a hands-on session allowing visitors to convert recycled materials into custom souvenirs.
  • Explore the chain – interactive check-in challenge:various check-in spots across the show floor aim to encourage visitors to explore the fair. Participants can redeem prizes at designated areas by sharing experiences on social media.
