With just two months to go, the final Agenda for the 2026 ITCO Members Meeting has now been published and can be viewed on the ITCO website.

Response has been very positive, with over 100 delegates already confirming their participation.

The Members Meeting will take place at the Hilton Antwerp Old Town, Belgium, on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October 2026. Under the theme “Strategic Opportunities in an Uncertain World”, the event will bring together ITCO members and industry leaders to discuss the commercial, operational, technical and regulatory developments shaping the tank container sector.

The programme will begin on Wednesday evening with the “Welcome to Antwerp” Networking Reception and Buffet Dinner. The main conference will take place on Thursday and will include the following presentations:

  • Chairman’s Report – William Leigh-Pemberton, Chairman of the Advisory Board, ITCO
    An update on ITCO’s activities and developments, its Work Groups and technical projects – including the Digital Twin initiative – together with information about forthcoming conferences and exhibitions.
  • The changing container shipping industry – and the impact on container supply/demand – John Fossey, Head of Container Equipment & Leasing Research, Drewry Maritime Research
    An overview of recent changes within container shipping, the outlook for the remainder of the year and the effect of continuing supply-chain and logistics challenges on container supply and demand.
  • Private equity investment in the tank container industry – Leslie McCune, Managing Director, Chemical Management Resources Ltd
    An assessment of why the tank container industry is attractive to alternative financiers, together with an examination of private equity positions and the characteristics investors seek in potential acquisition targets.
  • Container Developments in the Port of Rotterdam – Kenzo van Maris, Business Manager, Containers, Port of Rotterdam
    A review of future port investment and container activity, including the provision of suitable and sufficient container depot facilities.
  • Depot Audit & Assessment Scheme – Craig Anthony, Partner, Intermodal Portal
    An explanation of how the new ITCO Tank Container Depot Audit will operate and the benefits that the scheme will provide to the industry.
  • What is happening in the North American tank container market? – Jeff Louis, Freedom Intermodal and ITCO Regional Director, Americas
    An examination of the current challenges and opportunities facing the tank container industry in North America.
  • Smart Containers and Connected Logistics: An ISO Standards Update – Marianna Levtov, Convenor, ISO/TC 104/SC 4/WG 2
    Technical specification for smart containers, Safety standards, cybersecurity, automatic identification and data exchange
  • Tank Container Technical and Regulatory Update – Mike Himbury, Regulatory Secretary, ITCO
    A review of the principal regulatory changes affecting the tank container industry.

The Event will conclude with an End of Conference Networking Reception from 16.30 to 18.30.
