Strengthening two-way trade links from the heart of the GBA
Leveraging over a decade of growth and its strategic location near GBA’s automotive manufacturing clusters, wide consumer base and international trade network, AAG serves as a crucial platform for South China’s automotive aftermarket. As the industry advances towards intelligent connectivity, sustainability and supply chain integration, the show connected domestic manufacturers with global demand through new product showcases and technical exchange, fostering cross-border trade. Spanning Southeast Asia and other Belt and Road countries, AAG received compliments for delivering market insights, new distribution channels and strategic partnership opportunities.
Both the show’s scale and attendance reached record highs, reflecting the strength of the region’s aftermarket and its own standing within the industry. Rising international participation helped Chinese companies understand overseas demand and learn about new markets, while offering international players a bridge to explore China’s automotive aftermarket and connect with domestic suppliers.
AAG also welcomed 48 professional buyer delegations seeking chassis components, replacement parts, customising products, remanufactured products, and more in the hope of enhancing supply chains through targeted meetings. Delegations came from the GBA, the wider South China region, key domestic manufacturing clusters, and overseas markets.
Mr Jiaoyi Xu, Chairman of the Guangdong Automobile Aftermarket Service Industry Association, said: “Visitors came from across China as well as Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. With Guangzhou’s location and strengths as an import and export hub, AAG plays a vital role in promoting industry exchange and two-way trade between China and overseas markets. As NEV exports rise, new opportunities are emerging for related aftermarket services and parts and components.”
Ms Kryshalovich Hanna, Chief Executive Officer of Belarus Auto Sup, noted: “The show was well organised. Notably, the business matching sessions made it easier for us to find suppliers for used car parts and filters. Learning about Chinese factories and their new technologies face to face helps build trust. After the show, we will consolidate the product information and work with our marketing and R&D teams to assess potential partnerships.”
Mr Kai Peng, Chairman of the Hubei Chamber of Commerce for Automotive Supplies, explained: “We organised a delegation consisting of more than 20 members from buyers, dealers and repair shops in Wuhan, Xiangyang, Yichang and other cities. AAG exposed our members to advancements in South China and the surrounding markets, as well as the latest NEV developments, and offered efficient onsite supply-demand connections, providing Hubei companies with new business and partnership opportunities.”
Innovation across the entire industry chain
AAG 2026 served as a comprehensive platform for exchange across the automotive aftermarket. This year, we showcased parts for drivetrain and suspension systems, wheel hub bearings, as well as rubber parts, shock absorbers, braking pads, and ignition coils. Over the years, AAG has provided a platform for us to engage new and existing customers directly to deepen cooperation and demonstrate our strength.”
Accessories & Customising / Automobile Service Zone: responding to diverse consumer and mobility needs
The Accessories & Customising / Automobile Service Zone in Halls 2 and 4 featured popular product categories including auto care, lubricants, protective films, cabin lighting solutions and high-performance upgrades. Companies such as AIDO, Haoshun, Hongguan, Sanyou, WANSHUN and Yuefu presented products and solutions for off-roading and camping, vehicle cleaning and detailing, paint and heat-shielding, specialised NEV care, and more, connecting suppliers with the practical needs of South China buyers.
Mr Kun Wang, Head of Brand Marketing at Guangdong Haoshun Odis Technology Co Ltd, said: “This year we welcomed international buyers from Africa, Central Asia, Japan, South America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, arriving with specific sourcing requirements and strong purchasing intent. During the first two days, we received enquiries from more than 20 overseas buyers. The visitor profile and in person exchanges helped us present our brand more effectively and establish prospects for future cooperation.”
Mr Zeneng Li, Sales Manager at Zhejiang Bezos Outdoor Equipment Co Ltd, explained: “We specialise in rooftop tents, cargo compartments and luggage racks. Returning to AAG for a second year, we noticed an increase in the number and quality of overseas visitors, which creates valuable opportunities for exchange and international expansion.”
Specialised areas addressing demand across market segments
The Commercial Vehicle Zone focused on new requirements across the value chain, offering a comprehensive showcase area for high-quality components, distribution channels and integrated business solutions. The Replacement Parts Zone displayed specialised wear-and-tear categories, connecting suppliers with sourcing needs through product presentations and knowledge sharing. Elsewhere, sustainability was the focus of the Remanufacturing Zone, where technologies and equipment for engines, transmissions, electric control units and starter motors demonstrated how the circular model can reduce costs, improve efficiency, and accelerate the industry’s low-carbon transition.
Mr Jose Manuel Marin Avila, Manager of Laudin Internationaler Handel GmbH, emphasised: “China is an important market opportunity for our company. This is our first time exhibiting in Guangzhou, and our main objective is to strengthen existing relationships while finding new customers. Europe has a relatively mature remanufacturing ecosystem, and we were pleased to see AAG establish a dedicated Remanufacturing Zone. We hope to build a more reliable supply chain with Chinese partners around the recovery, reuse and reintroduction of core components into the market.”
Fringe programme events provide industry insights and explore trends
Across the three days, AAG hosted 36 fringe events including seminars, interactive experiences and business matching sessions where experts and academics from leading companies and renowned institutions discussed the industry’s future. Combining market analysis with practical guidance, the programme supported business development and helped companies identify opportunities in emerging markets.
The South China Automotive Circulation Industry Ecosystem Development Seminar addressed policy trends, business operations and export cooperation, while the 3rd Automotive Parts Overseas Expansion Forum examined strategic planning, market barriers and regional advancements in the context of global supply chain restructuring. Meanwhile, the 18th Guangzhou Auto Parts Technology Forum explored smart cockpits, connected mobility, data security, intelligent chassis systems and autonomous driving. Together, these conference highlighted AAG’s positioning as an important platform for tracking industry evolutions through practical case studies and shared resources.
Mr Liang Chang, General Manager of the Marketing Centre at Lemon Check, remarked: “Used-car dealers are placing greater emphasis on vehicle preparation and after-sales services, while franchise dealerships are seeing growing demand for component sourcing, as well as regular repair and maintenance. The needs of these two customer groups are converging. The discussions on store operations, logistics and overseas expansion during the seminarhelped connect the used-car sector with automotive parts and aftermarket service resources. Guangzhou’s strong industrial and trade foundations also provide favourable conditions for component companies exploring overseas markets.”
UTS Customising Salon and green-themed activities enrich the visitor experience
The upgraded UTS Customising Salon and its immersive experiences like product displays, vehicle interactions and sharing sessions, attracted industry professionals, customisation enthusiasts and motorsports drivers, bringing the region’s distinctive automotive culture to a wider audience. By combining displays with practical experiences, it created a direct connection between products, technologies and real-world scenarios.
